Help needed with skins application

1.  Where can I download completed skins for BOS?

 

2.  What complete path do I use to put the skins into BOS and DCS so that they are flyable?

 

I have tried to do this  both in BOS and DCS without result, so obviously I am not doing it correctly..

Completed skins can be downloaded in the Skins section of the forum.

For me (a non Steam user), it's: 

C:\Program Files (x86)\1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\graphics\skins\[plane name]

Pilots art/ custom skins

 

Make sure they are unpacked to the correct .dds format before copying to skins folders use 7-zip if the skins have been compressed for upload
