Mouse free look, what has changed?

Guten Tag,

 

checking in again after a while... why does the mouse free look feel so weird? Unfortunatly, I am still torn between getting TIR or simply waiting for OR CV1... so I am still looking around with my mouse.

I remember it being a little less "bulky", especially when looking in the vertical direction! Are there any mouse free look user out there who might shed some light, especially what settings one should use for mouse free look? How do you guys use the mouse for free look?

It might be the mouse speed that needs increasing. I usually turn up the speed, then increase it gradually over the next few weeks and months every time I get comfortable with it. After a while I can keep the mouse in the left hand and use it for throttle etc. while changing view as quick as my eye can move.
