Solmyr Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) Well, this problem annoys me since I bought BoS : my PC screen falls asleep as soon as a flight lasts about 10mn... I would like to keep this generic setting of my screen for energy saving considerations, but, you know, ... >< Why does it trigger while in the game ?? Any idea ? Edited January 14, 2015 by Solmyr
3instein Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Usually this happens if your pc hasn't registered a keypress or mouse movement in these 10 minutes, I would either extend the time a little longer, say to 30 mins or during a flight give the mouse a little wiggle. Mick.

Mick. Yup, but why does it happen in this game ? Shouldn't it be cancelled for the time the game is run ?

Maybe not if no key presses are registered or mouse movements. I think mine is set to an hour or two and if I fall asleep watching a film the screen shuts down until I move the mouse. I realize that isn't playing a game but may be similar, just set it a little longer, to an hour say. Mick.
Solmyr Posted January 20, 2015 Author Posted January 20, 2015 Finally I realized that it's all about of the same thing whatever the software used, just I wasn't used to get it to happen before. But in BoS, in case all my handling is made only with my joystick during 10 mn, it happens. Maybe I will change this duration setting.
