Adding the German JU-88 Bomber Plane

Hey, what do you think of adding the JU-88 bomber plane into the game?

This would be an AWESOME way to play the game.

And under World War 2 the battle of Stalingrad, there many German bomber planes, and the JU -88

was one of the most used in The Battle of Stalingrad.

What do you guys think of the idea, because its a interesting one.

I think we'd all like it, probably the Devs too. It's just a question of priorities and limited resources. Hopefully it'll come.

If, and it is an 'if', development continues beyond the first few additions (we will almost certainly see the Folgore, Tante Ju and I-16) then I'm positively convinced, that we'll see the Ju 88 somewhere along the line.

 

Not only is it such an essential part if the Luftwaffe throughout the war, it is also heavily researched and well modelled in other sims, so that there should be few blind spots in the work that has to be done. Add to that the fact, that despite being a multi crew aircraft, you only have to model one cockpit, and the engine and its operation is already modelled in the Ju 87.

 

That's not to say, that modelling the Ju 88 wouldn't require a ton of work, but it would be one of the more 'shovel ready' projects to start out.
