HagarTheHorrible Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 (edited) Flight sims that have come out of Eastern Europe in recent years (don't they all) are oft criticised for being, while technically great, a little sterile. Given the freely available code to look at of games like Rowan's BoB and MA etc why don't 777 and the like use these campaign formats and principles to make their own ? I'm not suggesting plagiarism but at least use it as inspiration. Given the state of computing when these sims were developed I can't imagine that they are truly that complex or demanding, just blooming clever. Edited September 21, 2013 by HagarTheHorrible
HeavyCavalrySgt Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Perhaps you have not played Rise of Flight.
SOLIDKREATE Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) As they said Rise of Flight (I own the I.c. Edition) is the best simulator I have ever played, even better than DCS:P-51D & A-10C, both of which I own. Edited September 24, 2013 by Erg./JG54_SPEKTRE
