AdlerAngriff Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Flight sims are getting more complex and realistic. Just check out DCS Black Shark, A 10 and so on. Whih is absolutely awesome. BUT with such detail you need a good IN DEPTH tutorial to get the pilots i.e. players ready. Another thing I would like to see is navigation training, flying in formation, practicing air combat tactics. Like a training ground in West Prussia and you have several training missions where you practice formation flying, combat engagement, rules of engagement, dogfighting tactics. Because ever since Il2 I had my own idea about air combat and I always seemed to be a more aggresive pilot. The AI would often do these weak "stiff" maneuvers. So it's okay that the AI has it's own idea about air combat that's cool because it's probably moddeled based on real pilot experience. But I just want the ability to learn to "play by the rules" Like I said in another post, I don't want to watch tutorial footage on youtube. I hope more people agree, but personaly this has always been an issue for me. Not being able to sort of "learn" air combat. Again DCS has some very cool tutorials. CLOD had a terrible tutorial. 1
kestrel79 Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I think RoF has a pretty good training tool. Even little voiced over cutscenes with Richenbacher. So I'm sure BoS will be in good hands in the training mission department.
Komemiute Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 A nice introductory campaign-tutorial masked as a frontline-flight school would be really nice. 2
