Campaign Creation With Upcoming BoS Mission Editor

In my mind a Mission Editor and the ability to create campaigns with those missions is one in the same. But I realized after reading the BoS forum that those two things might be considered two separate functions and it is possible that a BoS Mission Editor may be released by 1CGS without the ability to string individual missions into campaigns.

How important is this for you? Are collections of individual missions enough, or are you hoping that those missions can be assembled into campaigns as you can in RoF, CloD, and IL-2 1946.

I think the ability to create campaigns and the storyline that goes along with them is essential for the community to be able to create interesting content for BoS. What do you think?

In my opinion, ithout the ability to create user made missions and offline campaigns, this sim will not continue to hold interest for a large number of virtual pilots.

I think so, and if it is the same as ROF we will get that, I'm sure. I'm a on line guy so campaigns and story lines don't bother me. I voted for #1 for the guys that do want that. I have never played a off line campaign other than the unlocks I have to do. I know there are off liners who would like this though IF it doesn't come with the ME.

I think as usual some people are reading/interpreting too much from one line comments from devs speaking in a foreign language
