KpgQuop Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Salute! and a prosperous New Year to you all. I have a big favour to ask of you. Could you take a screenshot, without aircraft, of the environment around Stalingrad? Ideally it would be taken at an altitude of around 200 - 500, with a little cloud cover and the sun behind your left shoulder. Here's the kicker though! Could it be a 4000x2500 resolution image, or there abouts? That is a big ask and if it's unreasonable, please chalk it up to my ignorance in these matters. The reason I ask is that I have a little project in mind that I think (hope) you might like; and whilst I've bought the game, I still haven't got the processing power to run it. Thank you for reading and have a great weekend. Cheers!
TG-55Panthercules Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 (edited) The one I used for my viewer background seems pretty close to your requirements, so I created a 4000x2500 version of it - it's attached hereto if you want it: Hmm - attaching the file here didn't seem to work the way I thought it would, so here's a link to where you can D/L the full-sized file if you want it: http://www.mediafire.com/view/ax9iuidft5i8xi7/BoS_Stalingrad_Screenshot_4000x2500.jpg Edited January 3, 2015 by TG-55Panthercules 1
KpgQuop Posted January 3, 2015 Author Posted January 3, 2015 Just what I was after. Thank you Panthercules.
KpgQuop Posted January 3, 2015 Author Posted January 3, 2015 Thank you Chief. The Sun behind the smoke is spectacular.
Shouwick_Junjun_Nikku Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Yo get some Autumn Stalingrad in there, this member must see much more than snow, if KpgQuop is fine about it.. 1
KpgQuop Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 Hey there. I'd forgotten about this. I posted long before I had the game running. I wanted to do some photoshop skullduggery, repainting a Tucan in LW colours to make it a Tukanonenvogel. Then I bought the game and the project slipped. Thanks again for all your replies and to you Shouwick for the reminder.
Shouwick_Junjun_Nikku Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Aw Geez Swirls, I'm just happy to give out a shout out about the Battle of Stalingrad latest update. You know you have to admit, Summer Stalingrad has the most outstanding and very clever grass color and textures ever; if all of you have the patience or look even closer you'll see difference between the grass on the field and the grass on the dirt (not on roads just off the roads near the trees). I tell you, that there is clever, very clever!.
