Bulldoguk Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 As the topic suggest i was wondering if BOS would work with any switch panels or dials i would like to build a cockpit. This is the flightsim i now use most and it would be nice if i could get the Siatek Pro Flight Instrument Panel system to work with this sim it was designed for FSX any thoughts on this. I don't wont to shell out on the gear if it wont work. Thanks for any help
Yakdriver Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 You would need to answer the question: how does FSX send the altitude, bank and roll, speeed, GPS data to the panels. not being "in the know" i would say that this is done with "FSUIPC" "FS- UI-PC" and... then find out if that can be done with BoS. an alternative approach is to find out what sort of Input these gauges can have. and does boS output that - to the desired (usb?) interface? offhand...nope.But i might be wrong. 1
Sokol1 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 (edited) For these Saitek Instruments (or Flight Illusion ones, or some Windows/Android/iPad apps...) work you need that the sim send output data and this one at moment don't have this feature. Saitek Switch's panels is possible use (with some limitations) with 3rd part software, in this forum has a topic about, or look at Eagle forum "Input and Output". Just not in PnP way.
