Hi Pilots !

 

First of all, I wish you all a merry (past) Christmas and all my greetings for this new 2015 year.

 

I should have missed something, but, what is the correct way to install custom skins and use them in-game ?

I've seen nothing related to this.

Just copy the specific skin into the specific folder for each individual aircraft under the following path:

 

\\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\graphics\skins\

 

In the game you can switch to "Custom" under the paint schemes:

i am using Photoshop for painting my own skin. Than i must save it like what? JPEG, BMB? or something other?

After flattening the image in your .psd file, you need to save it down as a .dds file (using the nVidia .dds plug-in as described in another thread around here somewhere) - the settings to use when saving are depicted below:
