unreasonable Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 @Don_Quijote - looks pretty good for a first attempt! One observation: the blue number and unit markings look a little strange as though they floating on top of the surface. I do not know if it is just the particular shade of blue you are using: or perhaps a little overspray of dirt might help give the markings more life. Other than that it looks great: love the ship victory markings on the rudder, never seen that before!

Reflected Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Man, Poltawa was in USSR in 1943. There were never such a cauntry till 1991. Ukraine existed long before the USSR, and even during that era it was a member state of that union, but still Ukraine. This is not the thread for me to go on about this though. 1
ENDLESSS Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Hi guys here is a WIP on Black 12 Flown by Uffz. peter Bremer of 2./JG54 eastern front autumn camouflage 4
Skajrat Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 This is a work in progress at the moment. I need to sort out the joins on the top and sides of the fuselage and nose and add a black rose over the prop and engine cowling. 3
Weegie Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Really liking 3 out of the last 4 posted. I mean they are all good but 3 out of the last 4 appeal to me personally. Are any of these going to available to the less talented amongst us & are just not ready yet or are they personal skins? I ask as I am only playing in SP at the moment and would like these skins and as I appreciate anybody doing producing them, would never use a skin in MP (when/if I get there) if requested However I do understand if the the skin makers would not rather take the chance. Just an enquiry

SOLIDKREATE Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 This is a work in progress at the moment. I need to sort out the joins on the top and sides of the fuselage and nose and add a black rose over the prop and engine cowling. I think the painter is still in therapy 75yrs later
Weegie Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 This is a work in progress at the moment. I need to sort out the joins on the top and sides of the fuselage and nose and add a black rose over the prop and engine cowling. I really like that Skajrat It reminds me of WWI Lozenge, camo, it's the last of the 3 recently that I wanted to grab. Hope you're goanna share with the talentless amongst us Love it if I can get Lozenge camo F4 to match my Dazzle camo A3 (courtesy of Leaf). My plan is to off balance enemy pilots while they have a WTF moment It may offend the historically correct brigade but I think some of the alternate skins are fantastic Oh and Endless a big thank you to your Bremer skin and Don_Quijote for the Liesendahl skin.
Skajrat Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Still working on it but I plan to share it once I'm happy with it. Here's the latest update. Really having problems getting the alignment of the cowling rose and the fuselage camo. It looks like one of the WWI lozenge because that's what is based on. ~S~
Skajrat Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 (edited) The teasing is over for now. Just finished it as best I can without spending a lot more time on the fuselage joins than I'm prepared to at the moment. Hope you enjoy it. :D https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-lgrMi5TJoQQ0I1WXl3MzRZa2c/view?usp=sharing Edited July 4, 2015 by Skajrat 2
Skajrat Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Had a busy day today. Finished off the WWI Lozenge skin, then decided to do a quick historical one:Bf 109 F-4 of I/JG54 "Grunherz" Schwarz 8 as flown by Fw. Weegie Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 (edited) Skajrat's Lozenge at Hi Alt Remind you of anything? Many Thanks I think its just an epic skin one of the best I've seen in long time. I love historically correct skins but the fictional off the wall ones are the ones that stand out for me Edited July 5, 2015 by Monument
dan54800 Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Hello friendS Modders ! - (Don_Quijote - Reflected - Endless - Skajrat - and other artists ...) could offer you the users of your "works" the choice between two versions of skins? Ie one without the swastika and the other "historical" with the famous swastika? In advance, receive my sincere thanks.DAN
Skajrat Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Thanks to all who've enjoyed my skins. My policy is to have two versions for historical skins, but fictional skins won't carry the hakenkreuz. @Don Qijote I'm pleased you did the summer skin, mean's I won't have to @Monument I'm glad you agree enjoying the skin.

trek Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Download: http://www.il2skins.de/#/skin/195 Enjoy! Don Quijote, Your skin is fantastic and one of the best I've seen. Is it possible to make it with historical markings?
trek Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 No problem Don, I completely understand. And yes I will still enjoy using your skin in the game too!
707shap_Srbin Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 (edited) Don_Quijote Did You meaned this Bf109F-4? If Yes, so it had absolutely another colors and paint scheme. Ot must be two-tone camo, RLM71 + RLM70, undersurfaces RLM76. Edited July 15, 2015 by 4./ZG26_Panzerbar 1
707shap_Srbin Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Yellow 7 flown by Oblt. Heinrich Krafft, the Staffelkapitän of 3./JG 51, Soltsy, Feb 1942 http://www.mediafire.com/download/ow630y1hb309swo/Bf+109F-4+JG51+Yellow+7+snow.dds Nice skin, but 3./JG51 used braun color for numbers, not yellow. Also, possibly Erwin Fleig was a pilot of "Braun 7", not Krafft.
707shap_Srbin Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 (edited) @Skajrat, seems we were working on a Skin for the same Pilot in the same time.fortunately i choosed a summer Skin for Fritz Tegtmeier's "black 8". [ Black 8 was used by: Bf109F-2 in autumn 1941 - by Tegtmeier Then in winter and early spring 1942 - Bf109F-2 by Herbert Broennle Then Bf109F-4 spring and early summer - by Otto Kittel In summer 1942 it was used by unknown pilot up to conversation of 2./JG54 to Bf109G-2's Edited July 15, 2015 by 4./ZG26_Panzerbar
