Hey melkarth, its me again.

 

So do you know any one that is born or raised in the Golden State (California of course).  Well there is surprise I've been wanting to show for quite a while now:

That right, I found the Roundels for the Republic of California.  And I have fun duel it since last week!:

I was planning to do Texas, but I have some issues on which plane that needs my collection of Republic of Texas roundels.

Playing a career BoS on La-5 (8), made an appropriate 4k skin-pack (9 skins with numbers from "21 white" to "29 white"). Typical colors were taken as a basis. The first four names - "Baumans to Hero Lukyanov", reproduce the early La-5 240th IAP (summer 1942).

GIAP 5 Stalingrad WIP  a wash of AMT 4 green is added .This was a very important squadron during the battle for Stalingrad .  available at M4T ,12 skins .

I did a 4K version of this official skin when it was only in 2K.  With a new template available I figured I would update it even though the official skin is now 4K.  It mainly adds more weathering with some misc corrections.

 

White 84 was part of 88 GIAP (Guards Fighter Regiment).  It was captured by the Germans.

This is a redraw of ICDP's official default skins. Some design choices on this skin are a nod to the Great Patriotic War Museum static display.

Very nice, however I thought it was from the 960 IAP, the spanish regiment, and flown by pilot Francisco Meroño and his comrades.

  La5 serial number 37210770 by Mikhail Nikolaevich Karabanov.

The commander of the 522 IAP squadron on which he did not return on 02/11/1943 from a combat mission.

During this time, he had 12 personal wins and 10 in the group.
