Zargos Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Hello happpy pilots, I'm glad to introduce my first La5 skin. Zargos Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Hello, it's me again with a new LA5 skin. This one is a classic among the classics : the famous La5 "Za Rodiny" flawn by capitain Ivan Laveikin from the 5th GvIAP in summer 42/43 over Stalingrad. Skin available on the Zargos Skin Factory site : http://www.unbound-frogs.org/zsf/nzsf-php-skin-bos.php?SKIN_ID=7&ARMY=VVS See you soon. 9
KpgQuop Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Monday's not looking so bad now, either. Thank you Zargos.
Zargos Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Hello, Here is a new La5 from the Zargos Skin Factory. This one is made from a profile I've found on a very interristing interview of Sergei Isakovich Nasilevec who flown this plane during the wer. The interview can be read on the site of Massimo Tessitori (http://mig3.sovietwarplanes.com/pilots/nasilevec/nasilevec.htm). According Sergei Isakovich, his plane was the only one with a plain green paint scheme. I thought it would be interresting to make a skin of this unusual paint scheme. Here are some pictures :Download link : http://www.unbound-frogs.org/zsf/skins-bos/zsf/zsf-skin-bos-008.rar Enjoy your flights. 9
KpgQuop Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 So pleased you're on board Zargos. Thanks for the skins. They're beautiful.
Fazer_Beam Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Great skins, Zargos. Really appreciated, thanks.

216th_Peterla Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Hi gentlemen, First of all, those skins are fictional skins inspired by they historical counterparts(LA5F/LA5FN) but still they are not historically correct/accurate. I take as examples some profiles founded in the web but I don't know how trustful they are. They lack some basic views and I do what I could. Maybe a line in the camo here, and overspray there etc are not properly located but they fit properly with the base game aircraft skins, at least in my opinion. The colors could be not 100% accurate but as I said, I'm looking for a compensated ingame view and to be nice to the eye. I try them in the summer map with sunny day. The screens were taken in a non cloudy environment at 12:30 PM. They are based on Kramarenko's LA5FN and Galchenko's LA5F. Both are in a pack compressed with rar. Download link: https://app.box.com/s/wzicvm1ihs61a2foafcn04c6zqrv6cd7 Hope you like them and ejoy them. Merry Crhistmas and happy new year folks, See you next year. Peter 8
Reflected Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Peterla, excellent work! The colors look VERY realistic!

216th_Peterla Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Hi folks, I'm working on a pack of semi historical skins for the La-5. The profiles I have are for La-5F and FN but are nicer enough to get them converted into the model we have right know. This one attached is quite interesting but I have no info about it. Nor the profile shows any camo, just the light grey with this distinctive red nose and victory stars of two different colors. Your help will be welcome. Regards, 5
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 (edited) Great skin, Peterla! The original aircraft was an La-7 flown by Lt. Col. S. F. Dolgushin in 1945, when he became the commander of the 156th Fighter Aviation Regiment. Before that Dolgushin flew with 32 GIAP, a mostly-aces regiment hand-picked by Lt. Col. V. I. Stalin. Before that, Dolgushin fought on the 180 IAP, and he stated the war at 122 IAP. Edited May 1, 2016 by 55IAP_Lucas_From_Hell 1
