Reinhart Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Everything else seems to work fine except for these stabilizers... They just seem very sensitive and when I try to use them to trim out when I'm firing on someone I always end up over compensating or I never get the aircraft completely straight. Is there some way to edit the sensitivity?
Willy__ Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Well, you shouldnt be messing with the stab when shooting, you must trim out your plane for the desired setting before combat.
GP* Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 I wouldn't suggest trimming while shooting, but there is nothing wrong with trimming during a fight.
Y-29.Silky Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 (edited) I bound my throttle to my stabilizer.. two peas in a pod.. Dive on an enemy or turn, I decrease my throttle and my stabs decrease to 20-30%. Then when I increase the throttle, my stabs increase to roughly 60%.. it's perfect. Edited December 25, 2014 by Silky
Reinhart Posted December 25, 2014 Author Posted December 25, 2014 I'm basically trimming the aircraft at all times to keep the nose steady, I can understand why people tell me not to use it while fighting or shooting but it's one of those things that bugs me if I don't use it. But anyways, I just figured I have to be more gentle with it until I get an actual trim wheel. Thanks for the replies, cheers.

Do some research before you buy.

Sokol1 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 (edited) ...mapped to two buttons Or in rotary (knob, wheel) through a encoder - of course plugged in a proper USB controller. AFAIK - Only VKB Fat Mamba come with this kind of controller. Edited December 26, 2014 by Sokol1
6./ZG26_Klaus_Mann Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 It's like spinning a wheel of fortune, and wherever it stops you have a new trim.
OhhhhChihuahua Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 It's like spinning a wheel of fortune, and wherever it stops you have a new trim. Lol yes

Dave Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I'm happy for 109 drivers to get the super-trim of their dreams, provided it comes at the same time as FM changes to punish extreme changes in AOA.

voncrapenhauser Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 (edited) I don't touch the horizontal stab (too twitchy) on the 109 it fly's fine. The 190 is another whole ball game Edited January 4, 2015 by voncrapenhauser
