Uriah Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 I discovered all sorts of wonderful sounds in this game but most of the time I can't hear them or anybody on team speak because the roar of the engines. And if I turn down the sound then I can't hear all the other sounds of the game. Take pity on me, I don't want to go deaf. Take pity on the poor sound programer because not body can appreciate his or her great work with all the other sounds. I've flow other sims where just the engine sound can be turned up or down. Please do that.
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 I pulled the game sounds down a bit and turned up TS a bit for my headset. Then cranked the whole thing up for my external speakers and subwoofer! It's not too loud in my head but I can feel the engine through the sub.
Finkeren Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Sorry, nope. This is not a good idea. The sound of the engine combined with the sound of the airflow should drown out practically all other sounds in flight. Realism takes priority here, not least because having seperate volume settings for the engine is massively exploitable in MP.
SharpeXB Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Yeah if anything the engines aren't loud enough But having them realistically drown everything out wouldn't be much fun for game design.

Engine, guns, radio, and maybe a little turbulence rattle should be the loudest. Edited December 25, 2014 by Silky
Sokol1 Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 (edited) Uriah Try this tutorial for hear Teamspeak, was made for CloD, but dont matter, set in same way. http://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8864 I am not sure, but think that to do Alt+Tab in game in BoS is need set in full screen (instead in window mode). In game sound must be in 100% to you hear things like bullet impact (not this help so much in his virtual life). Edited December 25, 2014 by Sokol1
DigitalEngine Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 (edited) Convince ZaK to install/model a glider from the time period? Never been done before..... Edited December 25, 2014 by BlueMatrix
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 This but only if they model 12 HJ and two giant rubber bands for launching it from the hilltops just outside of town as well!
DigitalEngine Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 There you go, LOL, ha, ha, That's funny!!! Could tow it behind the He-111.... That'd be trip wearing the OculasRift,
450Devil Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 I sometimes (when no one is at home) have the game on speakers and TS on headset - works well even if it does seem that the house is shaking at times.
