Ju-87 AI not working?

I was just trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong here. I tell them to attack ground targets and everything else I can think of and all they do is follow me around and then land with full bomb loads. Am I missing something?

Also, I've been doing some searches but I come up empty handed it seems. I saw one post from a guy that was having the same issues but he was not replied to for some time now..

Before the new patch that came out today or after? I was having a lot of trouble with the ground attack and bombers but I haven't had a chance to fully assess if they are better now or not.

Bomber AI is unfortunately still rudimentary. It will most certainly get better in the coming months.

 

Now they at least drop their bombs before landing.

Ground attack wingemn are next to useless. Sometimes I can get them to attack, but most often they just circle around me.

 

I hope this will move up in priority, since I find it rather important to be able to get the entire flight to participate, instead of being dumb targets.
