CIA_Yankee_ Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Salutations. Prior to the current patch, we could disable nav markers on the map (basically showing your own location and contacts within your detection radius range) by pressing "I" (disabling the instruments heads up), on both Normal and Expert modes. With the new patch, however, it seems that this setting is now tied exclusively to the difficulty settings, AND is activated on both Normal and Expert. Therefore, this means that by default navigation icons are visible when looking at the map in the single player campaign, which to me is an issue as I like to hone my land navigation and contact spotting skills while flying the campaign. As such, does anyone know if there's a way to disable nav markers on the map in the single player campaign, at least on Expert? Maybe they added a new keybind for it, but I couldn't find it (pressing "I" to turn off instruments no longer removes markers, unfortunately). Thank you. Yankee
Comes Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Yes would like to have that too. Would be cool if we had the Option to remove NavIcons on Normal and Expert again. Or Better: Just allow Custom Difficulty in the campaign. Otherwise a great Update!
3instein Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Same here, I can disable the HUD with "H", but can't remove the plane icon on the "O" map. : (I hope there is a simple fix for this, because to see your plane every time you view the map is horrible. Mick.
