It should work fine in Gimpy as long as it has the .dds plug in.

I can load game default skins. But there is no tools to paint or change it. Do we need to load the files somewhere else and modify it to take a look later on the viewer???

here are the templates.

Put the templates in Gimp or Photoshop, and save the DDS files in the game/data/graphics/skins folders

I'm not a fan of the Default FW-190 skin and did a quick and dirty, what I think would go for a standard camo FW-190.

Sick of the white Christmas. Gimme some Green, and some matte colors.

the alpha channel thing is gonna rock the house. I imagine an unpainted metal and wood LaGG. with corresponding reflections.

Gonna be difficult.

and then one that is unpainted but polished....
