Offline Mode

Will BOS have a similar offline mode like ROF implemented?  My gaming rig is on the ship I work on and internet is not an option for me when at sea .  Which is most of the time.

I think there's an offline mode already.

Indeed. In fact to play Veteran's Chir Front campaign you need to be in offline mode.

 

Basically offline is used for ready-made missions or the QMB. Campaign requires online play (as it gets its missions from the server). Same with MP, of course.

Unless I'm doing something wrong....when I start the game with no internet connection it says "failed to update"  With internet I can get in the game and then access Offline Mode

Make a shortcut to the IL-2.exe in the game folder, start the game with that. Find it here: "C:\Program Files (x86)\1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\bin\game\Il-2.exe"
