1./ZG1_ElHadji Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Just stumbled across these stats on Steam activity. IL-2 BoS doesn't seem to appeal much to the Steam audience: http://steamcharts.com/app/307960 60+ players in the last hour (101 at peak). Same number for DCS is 200+ (peak 408) and for War Thunder 16.000+ (peak 26.228). Usually these numbers are higher when there is a Steam sale going on since a lot of gamers decides to try new games when the price is lower. Doesn't seem to be the case here though. Makes me wonder if having IL-2 BoS on Steam is really worth it from a business standpoint? Surely there must be costs involved for having dual marketing platforms etc.
vonPilsner Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Pretty sure you can buy through Steam and still download the non-steam client and run through that.
Scott_Steiner Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 It's always worth having your game on steam from a business perspective. 2
