Question about the Steam version

Since the IL2 BoS is on sale on steam and I like to be able to play all my games via steam I'm thinking about buying an additional digital copy. If I buy the standard version on steam, will I still be able to play with my Fw 190 and La-5 I got from buying the Early Access Premium version or will it create a new account?

 

Sorry if this was ask before, but I couldn't find it after a quick forum search.

It will give you a new SN# to register, but once downloaded it acts like the game without the loader thingy so you'd have a chance to put in any (working) serial number, presumably.

 

So unless there are some clever checks I would think it will work (but of course I'm not 100% sure).

Thanks for your answer and sorry for my late reply. Just to be sure I got you right, even if I buy the Premium Version on steam, I won't be able to play my pilot (Zettman with all his unlocks) from my Premium Version I bought here on it. I would have to create a new identity/pilot and would have to grind for unlocks and skins all over again?
