Well that's tempting as I've been on the fence. I'm just worried my rig won't run it well enough and the unlocks but that's the killer, it's the lack of graphic adjustments.

I'm no fan of steam, I don't see the benefit personally. But I'm old and had an 8 track in my first vehicle

The sale is tempting, as I am still on the fence.

 

The unlocks is only mildly irritating,- not a deal-breaker for me.

 

The lack of graphical settings is a bigger issue, but still not game-breaking. As many sim-fans I have a high-end machine, and it boggles my mind why I'm not allowed to fully tinker with my OC GTX 980 to get the best settings in 2560 x 1440. It's not a problem in Rise of Flight,- why is it in BoS?

 

The deal-breaker for me, is the omission of an immersive campaign with an authentic squadron and some virtual wingmen to care about. As long as this is missing, it's simply an incomplete game.

A string of un-connected missions with no consequences, done by nameless pilots not belonging to any historic squadron or correct airfield, is not a campaign at all...

 

The moment this is provided by the Dev's,(unlikely) or talented modders (more likely), or third party companies like Desastersoft, I will buy this in a heart-beat.

Until then, it's Rise of Flight and Cliffs of Dover (with Desastersoft DLC's) for me...

I think $9.99 is a bit more reasonable pricing so I went and plunked down some money for the La-5. Maybe the next time there is a sale I'll go for the FW190A-3

1. Standard Edition + La5 Premium Plane + FW190 Premium Plane  = 37,49€ + 8,99 + 8,99 = 55,47 €

 

 

2. Deluxe Edition = 64,49 €

But its still locked in the game.

In Steam it tells me i have it.

There is no difference. Just go with whichever route is cheapest. The price difference was caused by a mistake by Steam at the last minute. They posted the wrong price, we decided just to leave it.
