coconut Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 (edited) 1) Only on servers that have spectating enabled. But I don't think you will have any aiming HUD, and hitting anything might be hard. 2) The term "script" is a bit misleading. It's a left over from the time the devs were using lua, but these days these files are really just configuration file. There is nothing dynamic about them, and don't need activating. To switch to these views, all you need is to press alt-f2 4) I suppose so. Might be some issues with clipping though. Edited September 7, 2015 by coconut

I don't know if I can help anymore. I'm not that skilled. I just happens upon these when I was looking for what told the cameras to be where. 1
Jason_Williams Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Nice work Mike. The new cams were my idea. Glad they are flexible. Jason 2
71st_AH_Hooves Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 No prob, I'm having g a lot of fun playing with those angles. It looks as if you can add more as well? My only reason to guess that is there are 5 more spots judging by those directions at the top of that configuration file.
Czar66 Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 This thread was one of the things that made me into an idea of making a video condensing my last couple of weeks of BoS. http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/18143-bos-guncam-pov-testing/ 2

Sokol1 Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 For the purpose of OP this work well, other sample.
Sokol1 Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 (edited) Whats great is you can put the camera in any position in which the real camera was in the aircraft. Is not the camera on wing? [attach=104] // Side camera located on wing position = 1.45, -0.2, -40.2 rotation = 0, 80, -5 convex = "WingL_Out_0" object = "LuaScripts/WorldObjects/GoProCamera90.txt" I remember suggesting GoPro views and getting flamed for it during EA. You have: GoProCamera90 Edited September 8, 2015 by Sokol1

But the point us you can set with the numbers, any position you wish.
Rjel Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Thx Jason and Hooves for the ideas and suggestions. 1
