-NW-ChiefRedCloud Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Yea. by Burning down cities from Firebombing lancaster dresden braunschweig tokyo.... mwahahahahahaaha Chant with me... Civilians must die! Civilians must die! Civilians must die! They are makin good money, also expressed as they're makin' a killin'! http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=make%20a%20killing Pukes? Both have guns and Bombs. War is the Mass destruction of innocence... History point my good man, civilians, unfortunately, always come out on the bad as casualties of war. Never a good thing, I assure you. My time in the Military and experience in actual combat has shown me, even past indiscriminate damage caused by bombing, that humans on the ground can be quite ruthless towards innocent civilians. As you should know, a 500 pound bomb dropped on a factory does not regulate it's blast just to that factory. Chief

Yakdriver Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Indeed, war is a sad business. I find it very fortunate that we can sit at home, and with a bit of imagination, live through what these Men passed on their way.focus on destroying the machine, not the people inside... Drop FragBombs on the trenches, not the men inside. i find the lone soldier who wanders about an airfield, and also the Gunner crews, a good, strong reminder, a fragment of what it was all about - killing men who often times did not want to be there. Awareness and open eyes at the end of every flying session.
33lima Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Amen to that. Our fun, their lives and deaths...it's good to step back and remember, sometimes. S!

Yakdriver Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Yup.people died in many ways, some were surprised by treetop level strafing runs, others saw it coming by following the contrails overhead. and if you are in any way bitter - i am on the recieving end from time to time as well.I live with it.
