Plugged ears effect

Recommended Posts

I noticed that there's a groove sound  kicking in when you are in game,

i thought that was a bug or my sound card or speakers where faulty,

but if you ever flew IRL you will know this sometimes annoying plugged ears

effect that altitude make on our ears, where you like some bass boost switch

was flicked on your ears.

If we really had this modeled in BoS it's a great immersion feature.

What a neat idea. It would be a cool feature that sound gets muffled when your rapidly drop altitude. It would be hard to tweak it though so as not to be an oboxious feature.

I like it though.

Wonder if it happened pulling those G's too..

oooh please no! that would be the most annoying feature ever ,i live in a city surrounded by mountains and still havent been able to get used to that. AND THAT IS IN A CAAR!!

Maybe as an option though?

i don't even notice plugged ears anymore when i'm flying, so i consider this having a very low priority, sorry.

I'd prefer more content. Aircraft, maps etc.

Because, yeah, of course the sound engineer also works on modelling th aircraft, texturing the maps, making the teas and coffees and sweeping the floor.

I suppose we could use BMW 801 sounds for the Ju-52's BMW 132s, because that would not be lame at all. Better have some exciting ear plugging sound effects once in a while, the lack of which have been annoying thousands of virtual pilots for ages.

Now seriously: You have your opinion - I respect that - and I have mine, which I tried to give in a reasonable way. And so should you.

Because sarcasm always helps keeping productive discussions on topic...

Very well then, typical misunderstanding. No hard feelings, sorry for misinterpretation.

I'm kind of an aircraft whore, so I actually do prefer aircraft over tiny details like these here :D

By the way: I try to limit my sarcasm to non-productive threads, for obvious reasons ;)
