Game minimizes on start-up wont re-open

20) When the game is loading, a black screen appears and nothing happens after it. How do I proceed?
Go to the following directory ...\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\input and delete all files that have current.* in the filename. Do not forget to create a back up copy of those files in a different folder. And then launch the game again.

 

I followed this step, and the game started up fine for me. but i had to minimize to get my tacking program to run when i tried to reopen the game would minimize.

 

upon looking back into the data file i noticed that IL2 had replaced the current.map file that i had moved out of the folder so i removed it again but the game still wont stay in full screen.

if i load any other program before il2 bos, bos will always insta minimize itself like this

Symtex, I had a similar problem and found that checking the "Full screen" box fixed it....  it's not checked by default.  Sorry mate, all I can think of.
