Turrets in campaign, wingman not doing a goddamn thing... and more.

Been playing more often, and I've noticed (I play mostly Stuka) that my turret never, ever fires. Nor do my wingman. Ever. I've ordered them to attack ground targets, cover me, attack air etc... they just follow me along like lambs doing nothing. Not even attacking the objective. Am I missing something here? Is there a "team weapons saftey" control?? Rather annoying, as I get shot down without any help against 2+ enemy rather often. REALLY f'in annoying after a 30+ minute flight and successful destruction of my target. Really think going for points and ulocks is better just doing short mission after short mission, why even bother taking off and landing and flying cross country?

 

Second, why is the autolevel so screwy... is it just me? It's put me into the ground a few times, itll just turn off by itself. To turn it on sometimes, you have to try 3 times. Exactly 3, before it sticks. On... plane goes screwy then drops, press on again, same, press again, it finally sticks on... btw this happens when already level and steady altitude. I can see it not liking trying to figure out a heavy climb or turn but damn. What gives?

 

Is 2x the max time compression? Doesnt seem enough.

 

Thats all for now... this game is really starting to get on my nerves. right after my 30 minute mission where autolevel took me into the ground from 500 foot level flight back to base, the next try the game crashes (first time its done so) on my final to land. Unlocking options is a stupid idea, give me customization like LOMAC. Bad enough its a download game with no paper box, manual etc. and it's still rediculously expensive. especially for a horribly boring landscape with almost nothing going on on the ground, which is sad for a winter wonderland. unless your playing at down or dusk... and that only goes so far. i know its frozen, but comming, how about some ground units and battles going on, isnt this supposed to be one of thee worst modern battlefields in human history???
