JG1_Pragr Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 How many rounds are in store for the rear MG81Z in Stuka in BoS? And can anyone post me the source reference this number is taking from? What I've found so far (about the historical plane) several sources claim it would be 900 (without specification if this number is for each gun or for whole dual MG81Z), 1 000 (in each rack) and 2 000 (all together). Most sources claim the whole supply was 2 000 rounds. But all these numbers are taken from books and monographs of Ju 87, without any reference to historical manuals. Anyway at 2 800 to 3 200 rpm rate of fire this would allow about 45 seconds of fire. But in game the ammo is depleted in some 15 seconds. Thanks.
JtD Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 (edited) I have one manual saying 1000 rounds per gun, two saying 850 rounds per gun and one saying 700 rounds per gun, all from the D series. Edited December 10, 2014 by JtD
JG1_Pragr Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Just tested it. The gun racks are empty after less than 20 seconds. With 1 400 or 1 600 rpm it shall be between 450 and 500 rounds in game.
