PE2 bomb sight freezes in auto mode

Hi there,

 

I have been successful using the bomb sight in the HE111, so I know more or less what I am doing.

Now I tried to transfer my experience to the PE2, and found that the bomb sight view, when switching the aiming mode to auto, just stops moving, i.e. tI still see the ground below, but it does not move anymore. Switching back to the position marked with the eye symbol (dont know how you call that?) the landscape starts moving again. And its definitely not because it would be pointing to a fixed target point, it just stops there forever, and doesnt move either when I set velocity or height to absolutely wrong values. However, the dials are still working...

 

I would be very grateful for any hint

I believe it's a bug, I had that happen one time and restarted the game and have not had this issue since.

I have the same issue. It's not possible to raise the sight and the sound is muted.

Have not tested the 111 yet. Will see if that works better.

Same here, works fine today. It might have been that I paused the game the first time when I went into the sight view.

Will do some more testing if that is the culprit.

One problem with triple monitor. The sights is too zoomed in so you cannot see the edges up and below.

Not a big problem, but it makes it hader to do manual drop as you don't see the drop indicator until very late.

Same here, works fine today. It might have been that I paused the game the first time when I went into the sight view.

The time I got the glitch, I think I paused the moment I went to bomb sight view as well.

Glitch is still here with the He111 sight, happened in a quick mission but not in campaign mode (not yet at least)

switching to auto or view mode freezes the screen, while the game continues to run. Switching back to manual mode or exiting the bomb sight view makes things works again.

 

Pausing/unpausing doesn't do anything

 

This is hard to replicate as when I restarted the game, everything was back to normal using the exact same mission/plane config.

 

But at least I can confirm that this is an actual glitch and not an accidental hit on the pause key !
