Oculus Rift for Education/Marketing in BOS/ROF

Altough it uses low-detail graphics, it shows the posibilities for education of the Rift. In just two months leads the Oculus Top Rated list with more than 12,000 downloads.

 

 

When I saw the above demo I tought five years ago, when I tried ROF. I loved the way the Training Mission Campaigns were developed, very visual and inmersive:

 

 

In BOS there are no guided Training Campaign, but we have the great BOS Tutorials youtube channel of Requiem.

 

 

Being said that, I have a suggestion for Jason whenever the Oculus Rift is implemented in ROF or BOS. As a marketing element, I could be interesting to create a DK2 demo based in the ROF training campaign or being a passenger in the plane and upload to the Oculus Share web. If it is good, it will quickly circulate arround the world, creating new users with the pilot gen inside.

 

Screenshots and videos are nice promo items, but there is nothing like a good Oculus demo to relief a WOW!
