Used some time to appriciate the game. It is still somewhat though love . But the game starts to grown on me. The air battles are great, and the graphics wow. But i miss padlock in camp. mode and personal camp ala rof. With that i would be faithful to il2 BOS. Horrido

I completely agree with you I have also fallen in love with the game. My favorite role is flying He-111 as a bomber or transport. All that is needed for this game in my point of view is a flyable Ju-52

I like BOS very much. I did read a lot on the forum to get a better idea of it before buying it. I don't mind to have to unlock mods as I get to know the planes better before joining MP nor do I find the campaign boring. The original IL2 started small but grown to be a cornerstone of CFS and BOS has the same potential in my humble opinion.

I have absolutely the same feelings. I've been disappointed a bit for first but more I play the more I enjoy the game. Still I hope developers remove one idiotic feature (guess which one   ) and improve some parts of the game.

me too, almost finished my second playthrough of the campaign fighting for the Soviets. thoroughly enjoying it. FM is fantastic, last night i was doing hammerhead turns in the LA5.

No having much time at the moment but I still try and fly at least 1 mission a night in the campaign and I'm having lots of fun doing so. I love the atmospherics, things like the imperfections in the cockpit glass caught by the setting sun are superb. God knows what this is going to be like when we finally get a decent VR experience with Oculus or it's ilk... I can't wait

While trying to master the K4 in DCS, and having a great time in CloD, and looking fwd to finally start using that mighty RoF, I am, back, at BOS, and having a great time, specially with some of the FDM aspects of this sim, and the graphics too, the scenery, the skies, the sounds....
