Nice work devs. It should probably be pointed out though that the Germans shot dogs on sight in every town and village they entered. Perhaps the only dogs left in the area were the few operated by field police and einsatzgruppen death squads. Ugh, There's a cheery thought to have while eating my breakfast.

Freetrack users need to change again the "startup" file again and put 1 in trackir option, take in account What was changed? something key input and add line old track ir or something?

It really bothered me how long it took, especially because it unloads the texture as long as you stop looking at a plane. If you look at a plane, stop looking, and look back again really fast, it has to load again instead of staying there. They didn't take away from work in other areas. It didn't stop work on other features. It hindered further development and interrupted development 0%. I saw Ground Units driving to targets... no shieeet and it was stable. No lags nothing... Holy cow, so there is a hardcore simulation out there which allows vehicles on the ground and on the air... at the same time.. To the Patch, well atleast we got dog sounds now... hooraaayy! Yes you can have moving objects on all simulators. But you cannot have unlimited. What he asked for was battles in historical perspective added . And if you had any idea about mission building you understand this. We got more objects and the rest is up to the mission makers , not the developers. Brano Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 People are complaining about 30min missions in campaign.It is tooooo long,we need 16x time compression back.And in same time they cry out loud that they want dynamic live environment of battle seen in holywood movies.Units everywhere,in every corner of the map,best at least 1000 of ruskies vs 1000 of kraut panzers with 1000 heinkels and at least 500 yaks above them.While it takes 45min to fly from west to east on big Stalingrad map.Conclusion? Sort of women behaviour.They dont know what they want but they want it all now 1

I used to hate how the planes flickered between green and white skins. I think most people choose to fly with a winter camo skin so wouldn't it make more sense for the default skins to be set as one of the white skins, as the colour change wouldn't of been so noticeable (just a thought, I don't know how hard it would be for the devs to implement this) 2

Wither way im glad they are looking into those issues and not just leaving them as it is. I am very impressed with the updates in general.

You can check it - drop a powerful bomb while flying at 500m or more from a ground object like a friendly AA gun, then quickly switch to this object. You should hear the explosion a couple of seconds later than seeing it. Also, if you press F3 and the aircraft is facing you at a distance, when you fire cannons you hear the round go whizzing past the camera location, then afterward, the sound of it firing. Also very evident watching your aircraft hit the ground while in your chute.

Rjel Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Impressive update. The skins seem to be loading very quickly now, a huge plus in my book. I haven't taken the time to try and hear the dogs barking but I think it's one more step in fleshing out the virtual world much like it was when I first heard the wind rustling the airfield flag very early on during the EA. But thinking about the barking dogs, I remembered the urban legend about there being flocks of birds in European Air War. I spent a lot of hours looking for those damn birds.

I get it, it adds to the environment, but it can get old quick. I've seen farm animals in games and all sorts of little stuff like that. First time you see it or hear it you say hey wow but after the elevnteenth (not a number but it sounds like it should be) you just say ahh whatever. In "it" you can hear the clock chime the time. Nice touch. I see it as little personal touches we didn't have back in the MMO warbirds 2.77 years.

On the bonus side, thanks for the pak38. Given we already have the dogs sound a dog model for airfield guards companion - infantry doing patrol routines - would be funny as well.
