Yankee_One Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Hi all, as the campaign sometimes does not counting my xps and the "war" is going on my questio is: Is it possible to get unlocks? At the moment i want to fly and finissh the campaign iwith the IL-2. I am not sure if i will be able to get all those unlocks. What happens, if i get shot down/killed some/many times? I do not know if i should continue the campaign. Every help, answer is much appreciated. TY 1
-TBC-AeroAce Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Yeah it's possible but will take tome to get everything
vonPilsner Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 You can die all you want and you can go back and play previous chapters too, I find Operation Uranus chapter gives me the best missions (and I have unlocked everything for every plane...) In the substandard fighters as soon as I unlock bombs I would take ground attack missions and avoid dogfighting.
Yankee_One Posted December 2, 2014 Author Posted December 2, 2014 Thanks alot for your help. So i can begin the campaign without any fear to fail. S!
J2_Trupobaw Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 (edited) Yep.As experience gained in campaign counts both against unlocks and unlocking airfields... You need to unlock 4 of 10 (5 per side) airfields in campaign chapter to proceed to next chapter. Getting all weapon mods for a plane takes 6-7 airfields worth of experience . If you go straight through campaign, playing the same side, same plane until you get all unlocks, you should have at least 2 planes unlocked and third well along the way. By the time you unlock all 25 fields on one side, you should have three planes unlocked and fourth along the way. Edited December 2, 2014 by Trupobaw
VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 It is has been determined per an actuarial study that a person starting at age 25 and flying an average number of hours per week will achieve all unlocks by age 65. 2

Simicro Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I did not pay attention to the airfield so far. When you get an extra airfield... then it becomes available for the Quick Mission?
