No Padlock View

I'm new to the game but the padlock does not work, is there something I'm missing in the set up?

I start a quick mission 1 on 1 but I cannot track the enemy plane.

I have set the padlock for enemy plane on my joystick and this does not work.

But also cannot use padlock even when using the game default F8 key.

My joystick functions on pilot view F1 and track view F4.

Before start the mission you need select CUSTOM difficulty and check the box for Padlock - only work in this mode, not in NORMAL or EXPERT.

In camp. mode it is not possible to use padlock, which i think is stupid.
