SAG Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Hello devs (and people from the forums) i Currently use Two monitors, One for the Game itself (32inch) and an old lcd screen which is smaller for teamspeak, maps , etc. the problem is that when i jump into a gunner position and aim (with my mouse), the cursor (if i move to the right just enough) moves from the game screen to the map screen. then click to shoot and the game tabs out, is there any way to lock the mouse to only be able to move within the area of the main screen (game screen) son that this doesnt happen. i figure this wouldnt be hard to code at all and wouldnt take much time to implement. i know there are a lot of people out there that use two monitors just like me (1 for game and one for maps/etc). i thought this was more of a windows problem until i tested out other games, and the problem only occurs with IL2-BoS. also, if anyone in the community knows how to fix this, it would be appreciated. Thanks and see you in the skies!
vonPilsner Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I believe this works as a workaround in games that don't constrain the mouse... (I no longer have multiple monitor setup so I don't know if it works with BoS.) http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1146484-how-to-lock-your-mouse-inside-a-game-on-a-dual-monitor-setup/
achtungspitfire Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Would like to second this - I have the same issue with 3 screens so scrolling a little too far to either side results in a minimise to desktop and usually fiery death when I re-maximise BOS. I'll give swap screen a run but it would be ideal to be able to have BOS capture the mouse cursor without third party apps
