Greetings - after watching the install video over at ATAG yesterday I thought I'd give it a try. After some launcher issues (fixed here   http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=36078) all was good. I'm primarily an SP guy. I see the SP lounge at ATAG, this place http://airwarfare.com/sow/index.php , and here http://bobgamehub.blogspot.com.au/p/cliffs-of-dover-missions.html. I was wondering if there are other sites with missions, skins, etc. If anyone is thinking  of trying modded CLOD I highly recommend the video - actually much easier than any DBW/TFM '46 mods I've put together.

http://www.desastersoft.com makes some hardcore campaigns for CloD and they work for me with the TF mods, not free but worth the money I think.   :) Edited by vonPilsner

Hey - thanx - I do know about those guys - have them bookmarked, just forgot to put them in the original list... :salute:

I figure I'll give CloD another shot...a few questions:

1) Anywhere I can download a good Warthog profile for it? I'd like to have something to start from before making my own.

2) Is there a way I can spawn on the ground and just "practice" in SP? Everything I can find just has pre-scripted missions (not to mention the UI is pretty disastrous).

Thanks!

Start the 'Cross Country' mission in CloD and just pick whatever plane you want to fly. I'm pretty sure that one starts on the ground.

Imho one of the best campaigns to get going with in TF Cliffs, is the Redux campaign by Heinkill - which basically modifies the stock campaign into something really good. He has both a German and RAF Redux campaign.

I have flown the RAF one twice now, and love it.

The redux campaign is one of my favorites as well. The LW one is my favorite.

I really enjoyed heinkill's RAF, Luftwaffe and Malta campaigns last year and I've just noticed the campaign named Murmansk!! Shame on me and thanks again heinkill. :D
