I have found my Pre-order confirmation email with an Order ID but I cannot find key activation in my Profile or the Devs Diary. Go to Dev Diary 32 http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/1306-developer-diary-part-32/ Look at 2 or 3 lines down where it says You can check it out right away on you Profile page Click Profile page there it it takes you to the following screen. You can click License Keys and active there.

Crow Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 (edited) If there is only 2000 flight simmers out there then the genre is screwed, IMOH there is many many more simmers out there who dont visit forums much or play MP. This is where very good PR and advertising comes in, developers need to reach out to every sort of media, magazines and websites to attract more customers, though all this costs money, its a fine line. Are you suggesting that the only people who will buy this game are those that are pre-ordering right now? I wouldn't worry too much, there are many, many people who simply aren't going to purchase the product until it's complete. I know over 50 people who play flight sims regularly and I'm the only one of them interested in pre-ordering right now (especially pre-ordering premium). That said, while none of them are pre-ordering, none of them pre-ordered Rise of Flight products, or DCS products, or IL-2: CloD. Yet, when those games were released every single one of them owns all of the above. There's just something about pre-orders that rub people the wrong way now. Keep the faith, I know at least 50 people who will be buying this game when it's out even if they aren't expressing interest at this exact moment. I'm sure many of us have friends who will buy the game after it is out. On top of all that it will be on STEAM and that's going to guarantee some significant level of sales if the product is high quality. Edited September 17, 2013 by Crow

Mani pointed it out in another thread .. if you go to the members list hit more search options then scroll down to the bottom where it will say all.. Hit that drop down menu and you can filter it.. the first founders line is for standard and the second one is for premium.

How more specialized you are how greater the difficulty to find someone with the same interest. We are here with a very specialized combat flight simulation about WWII eastern front late 1942 Stalingrad region and how many are interested in this particular period/front/war is difficult, nearly impossible to guess. But with the success of the first IL2 game this one could also be a great all public victory. Let us all hope so.

I don`t know if counting the founders is a true guide either, do you have to activate the key to be a founder on the list, if you do there might me a whole mob out there who don`t show and can`t be counted. Anyway to me it`s great to see 2500+ on the board, I wonder what total sales figure would be viewed as success????
