How to enable Track IR 5 in the game?

I have just got my Track IR 5 kit and was hoping to see an option for that in the settings but I can´t find anything about it. So how did you do it and do you know any tutorial?

I far from an expert on this but since I have trackIR 5 I will say all I did, that I recall, is just turn on your trackIR first then load the game. Give it a try and let us know.

Hm.. so unecessary of me but I am so used with that you have to check a box in the game to enable a device. But then another question, how can I use another guys TIR profile? I mean if I have to put the xml-file somewhere?

Dear all,

I have still the Problem that BoS does not recognize my Trackir5 with TIR Release 5.2.200. In the TrackIR Software everything works fine (with the left green light on) but if I start BOS (the same with CloD) nothing happens. I understand that there is no way to Switch TrackIR on in the game. The TIR Software is running before I start BOS.

I would be very happy for any help...

Both lights must be green.

 

Make sure you change your pause/unpause key from your TIR preset, IIRC default is ESC or F9 !? not sure.

That's what I understand, too: Both lights must be green. If I press F9, both lights are orange. I have updated the TIR software and BoS is listed. In the TIR-Software all movements of the TrackClip are shown perfect on my screen, but if I start BoS or CoD, the view control of the game is still at the mouse (and the right light is off). Is there any setting to force the game to use TrackIR?

I'm stumped here. But As for your key assignments for your trackIR, Pause, center, etc, I think it wise to change them as you may get a conflict. Most of the F-keys are assigned in game.

I've had Track IR5 for a few years but I had to firstly download he latest TIR5 software then go into the software and select it to update game profiles then select BOS form there, all works fine then.

Thanks for all the Feedback. The solution was to start BoS as an Administrator. Simple, but now it works fine.
