The sim is out of development so no more updates. Surely something to be happy about?

There are still going to be updates and some big ones are probably around the corner. However, the team said that updates will no longer happen on Friday but sometime during the week so they can deal with any problems that might come up.

 

In the meantime, When I am able to sneak onto my squad server there is great fun to be had with this game! Got on for our Thursday fly in and had some real squadron sized action with co-ordinated flights with a mission to to do every flight. (it helps to fly for the VVS for that last part). Even with the server capped at 32 it was a blast. When the cap is lifted it will be outstanding!

Well I'm counting 3 big changes that they say are coming in the next 6 weeks: FMB, Skin templates, the cap raised in MP. I guess that last one wont be in an update but the others would?

FW190 A.I. being able to take off and actually fly a mission would be a nice update...

crashing into each other...

 

spin endlessly on the runway until one of the above happens...

 

actually take off... and then crash a few seconds later...

 

 

unbelievable the Devs can say the game is released with such glaring faults.... hey ho....

Devs allready said several times that they will give us their roadmap later in december. They also said updates won't be Fridays no more. Dead forum?? I Just logged in since last night and I have to read 20 topics wit new posts....so dead.

If you mean the russian starter edition, it's not fake. They released it on November 19th and it includes only 2 planes (Lagg3 & Bf-109F4). Other planes have to be unlocked through SP campaign.

Dude, your taking off wrong. In the 190 you hold the stick aft to lock the tail wheel and let it go to neutral to unlock it. Hold the stick back until about 130kph and the gently releasd to neutral. The tail will rise and you can take-off.

 

The faster you get the throttle to max, the less engine torque will pull you to the left, allowing a more straight take-off run.

Yep, that is the way the industry works: produce where wages are low and sell it in rich countries (read western world) for the highest possible price. Just like the clothing industry does since decades.

On the other hand if they sell it for a few bucks in Russia they also should make a fair distinction for other countries where wages are lower than where I live for instance.

Like some Southern European, South American, Asian and African countries.

But I won't see that happen.

 

For now it has a bitter taste for us western world citizens this peculiar distinction.
