II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 I'm in the states but have been away (involuntarily) from the game and forums for about two weeks. I flew yesterday and was really rusty. The Fw flies differently and my k/d hovered around 1:1 as a result of this and a conscious decision to airquake with no tactical considerations. Are there any foreign press reviews on the game? I am particularly interested in Russian reviews as they have a pretty healthy flight sim community and BOS following. I'd be interested in German reviews as well as the prime pro/antagonist in the game. I see Sokol posted an Italian review. If they could be translated, by a native speaker as well that'd be awesome, to avoid the inevitable Google translation errors. Also, not that interested in personal reviews.
Yakdriver Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 If you are looking for russian input, i would visit a different website, the russian one...?but then i suppose you read their language. :-(in here, i found these:http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1 1
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted November 18, 2014 Author Posted November 18, 2014 (edited) I don't speak/read either Russian or German. That is why I asked if there are reviews and if they could be interpreted. Edited November 18, 2014 by HerrMurf
Sokol1 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 (edited) Google for: "Рецензия Ил-2 Штурмовик: Битва за Сталинград " Not properly "review" - the autor say that have not experience with the gender - but give rating: http://gameguru.ru/games/il-2_shturmovik_bitva_za_stalingrad/obzor_il-2_shturmovik_bitva_za_stalingrad_v_rodnom_nebe/articles.html Others http://games.mail.ru/pc/articles/review/il_2_shturmovik_bitva_za_stalingrad/?from=list http://gameguru.ru/games/il-2_shturmovik_bitva_za_stalingrad/ Edited November 18, 2014 by Sokol1
Sokol1 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 (edited) "In fairness, Battle of Stalingrad is not trying to pretend to be a simple game. High price (1.5 thousand (Rublo) for the regular version and 3.5 for de luxe) cuts random passengers, and the obligatory presence of joystick leave only tested pilots. And they certainly enjoyed it, and the rest can play War Thunder or hijack planes in Battlefield 4." "IL-2" finally stopped pretending that he is interested in people unable to distinguish by eye Bf-109G2 from Bf-109F4." Edited November 18, 2014 by Sokol1
