56RAF_phoenix56 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 (edited) If, like me, you've become intensely irritated by the latest TrackIR5 software requiring Admin rights, see this https://forums.naturalpoint.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=12547&p=58802#p58797 recent post on how to solve the problem. I think you may also need to give the program access rights to its path, as described earlier in the thread linked above. 56RAF_phoenix Edited November 18, 2014 by 56RAF56RAF_phoenix

56RAF_phoenix56 Posted November 18, 2014 Author Posted November 18, 2014 I only updated my TIR software recently after inverting the camera with a new setup. With an earlier version, there was no issue of Admin rights, it's not a Windows 7 problem directly, in fact it's pretty unprofessional to write anything that needs Admin rights for normal use. The post on the NaturalPoint is fairly recent, often these things get buried. 56RAF_phoenix
