Down Sampling

I was recently introduced to the video enhancement potential of "down sampling" but il2 BOS does nor seem to support this.

DSR works only for 900 series .

This is wrong. With 344.48 it should work with 700, 600, 500 and 400 series. Atleast it is working with my 780s.

I can confirm DSR works on my old 670 gtx with that driver, its only available via the global settings tab in the nvidia control panel and at least on my card cant be set on a particular game profile.

Yes. You enable DSR in global setting and you can pick several. Then in-game just select the resolution in graphic setting. It works pretty well with BoS. I didn't like the effect in RoF though. In my experiments I noticed turning AA off in-game actually killed the frame rate. I get better FPS with AA turned on along with DSR

I don't know what the benifits are just makes my splash screens bigger and my plane.

Is there another setting to use on this feature?

Thanks everyone - yes it is DSR just did not recognise this. I have learnt much from these posts and now are able to exploit the potential graphic benefits of DSR / down sampling in BOS.
