If you're looking for a website with Soviet accounts, I can highly recommend the thoroughly excellent: http://english.iremember.ru/

 

Not as many English as Russian accounts, but it remains a very good site that is pretty amazing to read. Some of veterans escapades are quite amazing to say the least.
