Let's gather opinions for future of BoS

Before start, I am not liveing in English using country, so this thread maybe looks rude or weird but that is not I want. Plz understand it.

I wrote some thread complain to Development team of IL-2 BoS, but actually I am satisfying about this game. It is great. Some peoples do not agree with my opinion. Of course, it is not perfect, but I think it is the best game we can choice.

This game has big potential. Remember IL-2 Sturmovik in 2001. IL-2 BoS has similar start with IL-2 Sturmovik. Different thing is our eye level. We saw great advance of this genre of game. Our expectations are bigger than 2001. I think we have to wait and give them our opinion and they have to care of it. This game in this time is foundation of future development. We will see more planes and modules.

Please guys talk about future of IL-2 BoS. and please 777 and 1c watch these and think about these.

These are my opinion.

1. I bought this game at early acceess and I paid $95. I will not blame you guys, even you selling this game much cheaper than now. Please sell this game cheaper. I know some peoples who playing WT and they want to play IL-2 BoS, but expensive price is the obstacle. If you want IL-2 Bos be a big faenchise like 1946, it have to be reasonable price. I think $30 are good price for full game package. More users will gurantee this game's future. I know some people doesn't agree this but if this game failed by small user pool, it is total fail. We need more players, both of single and multiplayer.

2. Ground force simulation module. There are some tank games and these games are very popular. Some guys can remember CloD's ground forces module video(in developement). I thnk IL-2 BoS also can make this module. In 37% development video, 777 already controled T-34 tank. if 777 can make this module more simulationtic(? I couldn't found right word...), it will be a good and big part of game and will be big different with other flight sim game.

3. Learn from War Thunder's good things. I really hate WT. They always talking about historical accurate, but there is too much errors. but there is lot's of good things. First of all, Keyboard ans moust controls. There is lot's of players want to play IL-2 BoS doesn't have joystice. Of course, Keyboard and mouse play is not easy. It is natural. But lot's of people play this game with keybord and mousethey will buy joystick I think. Simple comunication system is good. For squadron play in this game, we have to use Team speak or raidcall. Some people do not want this kinds of things. So we need simple chatting system. For example, when you have enemy in your six and you need help, only thing you have to do is press the hotkey 't-4-2'.

4. Some minor problems. For example, in some airfield, I cannot taxing! There is very few space for turning direction, I think the FM is not perfect yet(It is really hard work. I know), I believe it will be more better. Firepower is too strong. In this time it is not big problem, but in future US aircraft will have Invincible firepower. You guy will see the return of 'Red Tails'

I hope many opinions of players and concern of developer. Is there ant opinion for IL-2 BoS plz talk to here!

2. I have no desire to play tanks in a flying sim, but I guess if it does not make a huge resource hit I don't really object.

3. I'm not a fan of flying with a mouse and I think if it makes it in-game it should be a bit crippled compared to flying with a HOTAS.

I trust the devs know what we want from an IL2 game and I must trust them to deliver (and so far it seems quite good).

You can fly with the mouse just fine in BoS. Just set your pitch and roll axis' to the mouse X- and Y axis'. Just don't expect unfair aid in flying, like mouse-players get in WT.

A starter HOTAS costs less than a gaming mouse. And as Finkeren said, you can already use a mouse, just don't expect it to work out of the box like WT,  no no no sir.

Tanks ? Well the engine allows it but as far as I go I rather see more development on the aerial part of a air combat sim. The land part of a air combat sim only means a pancake or a grave. Take your pick.

Back to the price... 60 dollars is good value. Marketing area can do less expensive packages like themed packs - VVS only pack ( and a LW pack ) for half prices. Or Bombers Pack, etc, you get the idea. I am sure next summer Steam will have it on sale or something, as they usually do.

No stick, no fly.

If 100-120 players work alright in MP, then the devs could probably start thinking about controllable ground units in addition to that.

Servers are currently limited to 32 players. There's no room for tanks or other ground units right now.

gomwolf - no worries about your English.

You're typing is better than much of what I see from many native English speakers on the interwebs these days.  :salute:

On #1 100$= around 80 euro, how much does a A-title FPS cost these days?.. you can always buy the cheap packet.
On #2 just no

On #3 Again no no stick no sim!.. just a damn game among others. Mouse-control? no a decent stick is cheap, and we already learned from WT against out will!!
On #4 Fm might not be perfect, but is good. Taxiing is more problematic in some planes

Sorry that I answered a bit short and it might be interpreted as almost rude.

My totally grammar lacking latin sig says all that I can say about #1 and #3 :salute:

Thanks about opinions. It is good too that judging my opinion, but I expected you guys additional opinion.

More popular BoS. Way to BoS as a big franchise like 1946.

I love this game even if it is without FMB and skin creation but most of all there are no manuals like in all the old and great combat flight simulators. :o:

I'd be all for it if the sim were to start selling at a lower price if it would really bring in more money to further development. I think I've gotten my money's worth as it is now. But and I know it isn't my call, if that were done this early in the release of BoS, then as a Founder of the original game I'd sure appreciate a discount on a future expansion. Kind of tit for tat as a reward for those of us who climbed onboard early.

1. You have the choice of getting the premium package (99.99) or the standard one (59.99), which seems, for me, pretty ok considering the prices of others titles on the launching date. I would have no problem if they sell less expensive packages with less planes to choose from, though.

2. Nope. I paid for a flight sim, and I expect them to use all the resources available to deliver a better flight game and not waist time and money on ground sim.

3. Again, nope. As already stated, an entry level joystick is not that expensive, and we all saw what happened in WT with people playing with mouse and people playing with joystick in the same match.

4. I can taxi perfectly fine, its just a matter of you learning/getting used to it. And the damage of the guns are fine too. They do what you expect. US planes didnt have much cannons, they used primary .50cals, which is in the game already (lagg3 and pe2) and is fine, they do what you expect.

I dont know what you people are complaing for, there are far more serious issues with the game right now, like the lack of a FMB, or the ability to host an online server and yet people complain about minor things.
