Gaalua Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Hi, I'm fairly new at this game so I might be missing something. I was trying to set my prop pitch manually for taxiing but have been unable to adjust it. I have successfully disabled the automatic control but when I press the key to change the pitch, the indicator doesn't move. I've tried to remap the controllers, assign them to a whell on my stick or to another key on the keyboard but no luck so far. I have also not found any other command to modify it. (like for the stabilizers on the 190) This happens with the 109 F4 and the 190. I haven't tested the other planes. Has anybody else encountered the same problem? It's not game breaking but I'd like to fix it anyway.
Gaalua Posted November 16, 2014 Author Posted November 16, 2014 Ok nevermind I found the solution, I'll leave in case another noob like me has the same problem. The german planes do not use the "Propeller pitch control" but only the "Propeller: high pitch" and "Propeller: low pitch" commands.
PB0_Foxy Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 yes because historically they used an electrical rocker switch. So same stuff in game. An axis for constant speed propeller planes (Yak , Ju87 etc ...) and 2 commands for planes using the rocker switches (increase - decrease)
