Friendly Ground Attack AI - Any ETA on a fix?

I know that I and others have been posting about the lack of any meaningful action taken by friendly AI ground attack planes for quite some time.  I've not yet seen any response from the devs that they acknowledge the issue, let alone are working on it.

 

 Any info from the dev team on the status of AI development would be appreciated.

I think it's all ground attack aircraft. I've seen both enemy and friendly aircraft basically fly in circles doing very little meaningful attack work.

 

Hoping for a fix!
