Mugwump Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 I play expert mode with technochat turned off. As I don't speak any Russian and only a little German, I'd appreciate it if you would allow players to turn off technochat but still made subtitles of radio chatter visible. Would this be possible?
unreasonable Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 It is possible now. You have to leave HUD on so that you get the chat box which has the radio translations. Technochat and anything else you do not want (apart from yellow messages) can be turned off in one of the settings menus - search and you shall find.
Sokol1 Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 (edited) In Options go to "Flight Interface" and set (or after start a mission hit ESC and access "Basic Options" In game messages = Off (this messages is not "radio messages", is technochat). Instrument panel = Hidden Mini map size = Hidden Now when you start a mission in EXPERT will see only the pop-up for radio messages - that can be turned Off/On with (H): And if press (I) will see: planes icons on map (O) and overly compass/waypoint indicatot in left side of screen. These two options is tied togheter due the "Less key is better" rule. If you are inside mission area ("ground observers" coverage") you will see icons on map for your plane and friendly/enemy planes, if are outstide mission area will seem only your plane icon over map.
