SilentOtto Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Dear Saitek X52 Pro users... If any I have problems with the creation of the profile. It looks like that the game doesn't distinguish between key mapping created in the Saitek profile editor, for example:- Mapped throttle hat right (->) as "flaps up" (LSht + F)- Mapped throttle hat left (<-) as "flaps down" (F)The game doesn't know the difference, and sees both mapping as "F". But internal game module allows you to map the throttle hat directions properly.- Mapping of aircraft lighting creates the same problem. The game doesn't distinguish between: L, L(R)Sht + L, CTRL + L, Alt + L. Everything is seen as "L". I avoided this problem by changing the default key mapping. But the keyboard does not have enough buttons to get around all of them. etc. etc.Any suggestions? 1
FlyingH Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 When you map a command with a SHFT; CTRL or whatever ie LSHFT you press the left shift and add the button (LSHFT+F), test if you need to hold down the LSHFT while pressing the hat swich or button or whatever you want to map the command to. I found out I can even use the two rotaries + the buttons on the throttle to map commandsto BUT ONLY as DX buttons, but still useful! (I mapped one button to start recording and the rotaries to different cooling systems) Hope you get the idea.
ECV56_Palex Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 When you map a command, clic right mouse and select QUANTIZE TIME...is a little delay between SHFT,CRTL, etc and the next key. Problem solved!!

I did however download the sim a second time.
Lama Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 (edited) Hello all , could someone do a video tuto kind of ? Got the same probs , in need to have a F12 key on joystick (at minimum for Track IR center) therefore a SST profile ; the exemple of F, Shift F , for flaps is a point. What about assignement to the 2 rotaries for trims left hand ? Even with a Up , neutral , Down band assigned under SST for each , no effect or erratic! I'm wondering if SST programation is really interacting in BOS...maybe something to deal with DX...? Edited January 23, 2015 by NNG_Lama
Puppet Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I actually can't even get my x52 to work :\ I guess i'm going to try to re-install it.
Jaeger55 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I have a x52 also and if I plug it into the front of the PC , it's responses are twichy. I moved it to the rear and plugged into the usb of the motherboard 3.0 and seem to be much better.
FS_Fenice_1965 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Funny how this is the only simulator having problems with programming software. Those using Warthog have same problem. In the warthog is needed to add delays in the commands to get Shift keystrokes work. 1
-NW-ChiefRedCloud Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 I had a witch of a time installing the Saitek software on my new computer. MY problem seemed to imitate from my USB 3.0 drivers. Once I uninstalled them it seemed to work fine. MY opinion is that Madcap needs to work on their driver software to make it more USB 3.0 + comparable. Chief
