TrackIR BOS custom profile - where does it go?

I think my question may have got lost in the general kerfuffle over TrackIR.  I have a custom profile for BOS that I would prefer to use.  Prior to the 1.004 game update, I would load this profile in the RoF slot in TrackIR.  I still have the profile loaded there but it no longer works.  I know that, if need be, I can just set TrackIR to load my BOS profile exclusively but as I often flip between ArmA, DCS, WT, and BOS, I'd prefer not to have to do this if it's possible to avoid.

 

Does anyone know if it's currently possible to assign a custom profile to a slot that will work with BOS without having to resort to clicking the exclusive box?  If so, where should I load my custom profile to?

Got one possibility to suggest to you - check the "exclusive" box

 

No, seriously, I tried something that might help you.  When I unticked "exclusive" and fired up BoS, I found that it was using the Default profile.  So, I made a copy of the default profile, exited the TIR software, went in to Windows explorer and renamed my custom BoS profile as "Default".

 

Then I restarted TIR, started BoS, and sure enough, BoS was using my custom (renamed) BoS template.

 

So, unless you have some other programs that also have this problem and have to use the default profile, you should be able to use this workaround to play BoS with your BoS profile and the other programs can still use their own profiles, and you won't have to tick the "exclusive" box.

I always just check exclusive with TrackIR

Try Requiems profile on exclusive. Its brilliant.

As I said in the original post, I'd rather not have to use the exclusive function.

I just ran another "Check For Game Updates" in TrackIR. It requested a software resart, and after that IL2 BoS is listed in the Titles tab, and you can select a custom profile for it.

Yeah, funny thing is, then the title showed up, and I told it which profile to use.  But it's the one that I'm already running exclusively!
