6./ZG26_Klaus_Mann Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Seriously, I can't switch it off and it destroys performance/is buggy.
AndyHill Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Find the "cinematic effect" or something like that in camera setting. Luckily this is one of the few settings we can actually adjust. 1
Yakdriver Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 (edited) why can you not switch it off? you sure you are looking in the right place?and: because i find that thing cool as hell. Edited November 10, 2014 by Hawker_Typhoon
Czar66 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I did what AndyHill just told, a few months ago. Best tune I did with the game. Motion blurr is senseless on a simulator.
Major_Hero Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Keep cinematic, but give pilots the option of motion blur in the cockpit. I don't like the motion blur, some do. I like the cinematic in external view, some don't. We have all the options for ordnance now, so why not have this as an option for pilots to choose their in flight experience. I'm sure it's coming at some stage
39bn_pavig Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Having played on several computers I have found that it depends on graphics card. On my ATI card motion blur looks terrible. On a higher end NVIDIA at good framerates it looked great - kindof like motion based antialiasing, if that makes sense. With trackIR it allowed me to keep a better eye on enemy planes by defocusing cockpit/background while I tracked them, and gave a better sense of situational awareness as the vector blurring assists somehow in reinforcing where your view is pointing relative to the cockpit/environment. At home though I turn it off because it just makes things look bad.
avlSteve Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 (edited) I had to turn it off again after the update. camera/cinematic effect I think. They should label it "make screen blurry during head move". No clue why that is on by default. Edited November 11, 2014 by avlSteve
